Review: Cover Girl 3-in-1 Foundation

Finally I’m going to be reviewing the new Cover Girl 3-in-1 foundation! I finally tried this foundation yesterday so I’m going to tell you what I think about it: pros & cons.

So this foundation is supposed to work as a primer, foundation, and concealer .. hence, 3 in 1.  The shade I am is Classic Tan. I applied this for an internship interview [which I landed by the way :)] with a beauty blender. It works great as a foundation,  the consistency is really liquidy, if that’s a word haha. As far as concealer, I have to admit it does conceal pretty well but I ended up using my NYX HD Photo Concealer in Nutmeg. I like to have extra coverage for my dark circles and acne blemishes. As far as a primer, it doesn’t work WONDERS so I do suggest putting on a primer before you apply the foundation. I need primer because the pores on my nose are HUGE.  The foundation works best when it’s used with the Cover Girl pressed powder in Clean. Clean is the Cover Girl brand for OILY skin and I have very oily skin! The shade I buy for the Clean powder is Soft Honey. When you use the powder & foundation together, you’ll see wonders! Overall, I would give this foundation like an 8.5 on a scale from 1-10. It works pretty great but it isn’t amazing or holy grail worthy. It also doesn’t live up to it’s 3-in-1 name in my opinion. I was pretty disappointed because a lot of makeup vloggers said it was the bomb! I’ll stick to Revlon Color Stay or NARS.
