Finally! The MET Gala came and went and now it’s time to indulge! Like my White House Correspondents’ Dinner post, I’m going to share with you the best dressed of the MET Gala: PUNK: Chaos to Couture! I’ve been waiting for this event for months so let’s begin shall we?
I was in complete awe when I saw Jennifer Lopez rocking the red carpet in this curve hugging gown! Then she went with punk theme & completed the look with a pompadour hair style! But J.Lo was a fashion beast on that red carpet! She is FIERCE! Ugh, I can’t even stand it. She knew exactly how to work that gown! The picture is self-explanatory. She is stunning and just plain gorgeous.
Cara Delevingne has punked it out! This gown is beautiful and the plunging V neck is EVERYTHING! The smokey eye & the punk hairstyle she rocked on the red carpet just added to her amazing style. She looks so edgy and sexy. Punk couture suits her, definitely.
Emmy Rossum looks absolutely stunning in this this Donna Karan Atelier gown. It’s the perfect red carpet dress for her! I love how you can see her amazing legs and I love the embellishments on this gown. It simply breathtaking. She too, like J.Lo, went with a punk hairstyle and it worked in her favor with this gown. She pulled it off and I’m in LOVE with her eye makeup & earrings. She’s smokin!
If anyone else tried to wear this gown, I most likely would’ve thought yuck! But Minka? She went straight up Punk couture on the red carpet & she nailed it! Plus those braids in her hair just added to her amazing look. Like seriously? She did the damn thing and she looks gorg and I’m loving that purple lip she put on. Anyway like I said, can’t go wrong with Carolina Herrera.
Another one who decided to go real punk and channel her inner vamp was Nina Dobrev. This unique ensemble has me pretty impressed and it was custom made for her. I love the bustier and the ensemble itself is very unique & I’m glad she pulled it off! She dared to go there and it looked sexy.
So there you have it! Those were MY favorite looks of the MET GALA 2013! Hope you enjoyed darlings.
